Stylecrate subscriptions boxes are unique in that you don’t need to commit to ownership of any products unless you really want to. Once you’ve signed up and chosen your colour and design preferences you will receive an automated email confirming activation of your subscription and you can expect to receive your first box within 3-4 working days from receipt of this email.

Your box includes a form detailing the items you have received and the return/dispatch dates. You can wear the clothes up until the return date specified on your form, after which you can choose to buy any items from your box or return them to us. 

You will have a 7 day window, starting from your return date, in which you must post your box back to us. You can find out when you need to return your box by checking the return dates window on the the form inside your box. Please remember that we always require you to return your box to us even if you have bought all the items in it.

To return your box, apply the self-adhesive prepaid shipping label over the original postage label. Then, post your box at any royal mail post office or parcel drop off point free of charge.

After your first month, you can expect to receive your next box 3-4 working days from your billing date which you can also find on the slip in your box or in your account section on our website. 

Stylecrate rental boxes work in a similar way to our subscription boxes. The major difference is that you get to choose what clothes you want to receive. On the product page, you can select one T-shirt and one long sleeve top from a list of clothes. Once you have placed your order you will receive an automated email confirming payment. You can expect to receive your rental box 3-4 working days from receipt of this email. 

You will have access to the clothes for one calendar month, after which you can choose to buy any items from your box or return them back to us. Your box inlcudes a form detailing the prices of the items you have chosen and the return dates for the rental period. You will have a 7 day window in which to return your box from the end-date of your rental period. Please remember that we require you to return your box back to us even if you have bought everything in it.

To return your box, please apply the self-adhesive prepaid postage label (included in your box) over the original shipping label. Then, post your box at any royal mail post office or parcel drop off point.

At Stylecrate, we measure our sustainability in two ways:

  1. Through the way our brands’ clothes are manufactured and distributed.
  2. Through the way our clothes are used.

We only source clothes from brands that have made commitments to making fashion more sustainable. These commitments range from using organic cotton, treating workers fairly and manufacturing products in factories that are powered by renewable energy. This means that the average garment in a Stylecrate clothes box has emitted 90% less CO2 emissions during production than anything bought from a non-sustainable brand.

We appreciate that some of our suppliers haven’t yet fully implemented their sustainable pledges. That’s why we try to re-use their clothes as much as possible to maximise the lifetime value of every garment. You may have heard that most clothes bought today are worn an average of 7 times before being exiled to the back of a wardrobe. By re-distributing clothes amongst our subscribers, we ensure that every garment is worn as it’s creator intended it to be. 

If you want to buy any item(s) from your box – just keep them! Yes, it really is that simple. Then, on the form inside your box, tick the ‘purchase’ column alongside the item you want to buy. Put the form in your box and return it to us. When we receive your box, we’ll charge your account automatically. Clothes shopping has never been easier! 

You can expect to receive a mix of brands that we currently stock. You can find out about our brands on our homepage. If you want us to partner with any particular brands don’t hesitate to get in touch and let us know!

We cannot guarantee that you’ll love everything we give you, but you can help us out by choosing your preferred colours and designs from the menus on the product page. You can update this list in your account at anytime. Whilst we’re not a styling service, we know how much clothes mean to people, so if you have any specific style choices, please add a note to your order on the checkout page or follow us on Instagram @stylecrateuk so we can get a better idea of what to give you. 

If you’ve damaged or stained an item, you needn’t worry. Send it back to us as normal and we’ll fix it. If, on the off chance, the item is irreparable or we deem it unfit for re-use, then we may charge your account for the value of the item and we will contact you before doing so.

Unfortunately, if you lose an item altogether then we must charge you for the value of that item. For more information on this, please read the Terms and Conditions on our website.

1. Prepare the Box

Please fold the clothes neatly and place them inside the box along with the form, having filled it out correctly. Then seal the Box using the straps provided.

2. Apply the label

Once you have sealed the Box, stick the self-adhesive prepaid shipping label (provided) over the original shipping label making sure that it is clear and visible.

3. Post the Box

Post your Box at any Royal Mail post office or parcel drop off point free of charge. If you have any difficulty returning your Box, email us at [email protected]

If your box has been damaged in transit or has broken for any other reason please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we’ll sort everything out for you. 

To cancel your subscription, log into your account on our website. Select ‘my subscriptions’ and then click ‘cancel subscription’. You will then receive an email confirming the cancellation of your subscription.
